Fireworks Aren’t Fun for Pets

The first week in July is a great time for cookouts, picnics, family and friends but it’s not so great for many pets.

With fireworks, booms, the sky lighting up with huge flashes and people outside making loud noises, dogs tethered outside can get spooked easily. Also, cats, feral and friendly ones, can get startled and look for safe places to hide.
